"Caring and Commitment in Action"


Assisteens® is a national program designed to train young men and women in philanthropic work, fundraising activities and leadership skills.  Our local auxiliary, Assisteens®, began providing guidance to 9th through 12th grade girls in 1989.  In 2002, the first class of young men was accepted.  Currently we are 90 members strong and represent ten high schools in Fresno County.  Through the concept of Caring and Commitment in ActionAssisteens® participate in a program of self-improvement for its members.  The auxiliary shall support, in some manner, the chapter’s philanthropic program.There is a minimum commitment per member of 40 hours.  

The Assissteens class for 2018-2019 is now full. We received a record number of applications this year.  Please visit this portion of the website in December 2018 for the application for 2019-2020.
