"Caring and Commitment in Action"

Assistance League Thrift Boutique

The Assistance League Thrift Boutique opened on Blackstone Avenue in July of 2010.  It had been the Assistance League’s longtime goal to move its store (formerly known as  Bargain Boutique in the Tower District) to a more visible location.

The new store, with its increased size, now carries furniture as well as gently used clothing for men, women, teens and children.  The AL Thrift Boutique also has linens, household goods, children’s toys and a variety of books for all ages.   Holiday and seasonal items are popular.  New items are constantly arriving.

Since opening the original store in 2001, AL Thrift Boutique, as it is now called, has contributed almost $600,000 to the AL Fresno Chapter to financially support its programs.

AL Thrift Boutique is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am to 4pm.  The store is staffed entirely with volunteers.  Our voting members are encouraged to volunteer 12 three hour shifts per year.    Assisteens® volunteer 2 three hour shifts per year. All members are encourage to work additional shifts if they are able.

For those who love to shop at thrift stores,

the AL Thrift Boutique is a must!
