Assisteens is a national program designed to help young men and women plan their future in philanthropic work, fundraising activities, personal enhancement, and college entry. Our local auxiliary, Assisteens, began providing guidance and counseling to 9th through 12th grade girls in 1989.  In 2002, the first class of young men was accepted.  Currently, we are 80 members strong and represent ten high schools in Fresno County. The purpose of Assisteens shall be to carry on a program of philanthropic work in the community, following the concept of Caring and Commitment in Action, and to participate in a program of self-improvement for its members.  The auxiliary shall support, in some manner, the chapter’s philanthropic program.
